Chris Haas
My Approach

A Dedicated Operator, Not a Financial Buyer

I seek to acquire a single company to personally lead and grow for the long term.

Unlike a financial buyer, I am a hands-on leader committed to stewarding the owner's legacy.

I will preserve the unique culture and values that made the business successful, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and customers.

While preserving the company's core, I bring the proven playbook that scaled a technology business to over $700M in annual revenue.

My experience in strategic planning, product innovation, and go-to-market execution will unlock the company's next growth chapter, guided by a people-first leadership approach built on my 20+ year track record.

Chris Haas
Professional Background

Chris Haas

San Diego, California

I spent over twenty years building and scaling technology businesses, most recently as COO & CPO at We Treat, where I owned the full P&L of a healthcare services & software company.

Prior to that, I spent over a decade at ServiceNow, where I led product strategy and execution as Head of Product for a major line of business, building and leading a cross-functional organization of over 100 people and helping to scale the business to more than $700M in annual recurring revenue.

Earlier in my career, I founded and ran Inforward, Inc., a boutique consulting firm delivering enterprise software solutions across finance, logistics, and healthcare.

Personal Mission

Why I'm Doing This

I live in San Diego with my wife and daughter. My family is my "why"—they are the reason I am committed to building something sustainable, meaningful, and designed to last.

This search is rooted in the belief that the right business can provide both professional fulfillment and the flexibility to be present for the people who matter most.

This is not just a financial endeavor—it's a family legacy in the making.

How I Work with Brokers & Business Owners

A transparent, efficient, and respectful process from initial contact to closing

1

Initial Fit Check

Share a teaser or summary for rapid feedback (<8 hrs). Mutual interest leads to NDA and request for CIM/financials.

2

Preliminary Analysis

Review CIM/financials and submit clarifying questions. 24–48 hr feedback on teasers and CIMs. Attractive opportunities proceed to owner calls.

3

Owner Conversation & Site Visit

Discuss business, history, culture, and owner's goals. In-person visits preferred for local businesses.

4

Letter of Intent (LOI)

Aim to submit LOI within 7–10 days of sufficient information. Terms balance fair value, bankability, and seller goals.

5

Due Diligence & Closing

Conduct focused financial, legal, operational, and risk diligence. Target closing in 60–90 days.

My goal is to be straightforward, respectful, and decisive. If a deal isn't the right fit, I will tell you quickly and explain why.
